We are very excited for this opportunity to reach people with the love of Christ. While they may come to see a victory in an event, we know that they can leave with something greater, the love of Jesus Christ. We are asking DTS and Short Term teams from all across the world to come and join us for this event. Outreaches will be started three months before the event and will till the ground for what God is going to do when the games arrive. The games run July 13th- 29th. We are asking for your help. We need teams who can work with us all for the three months, part of them, or just during the games. If it is next door or in remote places, we have to make Jesus known! We will make a difference among the nations when going to another place becomes a continuity of what we are doin in our locations.<br /><br />YWAM Rio has been here since the 1970´s and has been growing in its ministries ever since. God has blessed the base here and has provided locations in Complexo do Alemao, Parada de Lucas, Borel, and Tuiuti. These ministries have seen great things come to pass as the result of God hand on the place and they are able to shine the love of Christ into some of the darkest places in Rio.<br /><br />Using the gifts that God has given us and the arts that are widely acepted today (like dance, drama, and circus) YWAM Rio has been able to show the love of Christ to many in need.
